“The service that was provided was outstanding. It is imperative that you set aside some time to explore the pool deck, which features a heated infinity pool. There is also a portion of the pool that is reserved for adults exclusively, but the fact that there were some children present at the main pool did not worry us.
Our whole time there was four days, four nights, and five days. Since we arrived earlier than the check-in time, we went to tacos & tequila for lunch while we waited to be able to check-in. Our apartment was on the second story and had a view of the city.
If you have trouble falling asleep or getting up early, you should request a room on a higher floor that is further away from the STK. We weren’t bothered by the noise at all. What else can I say? Feeding peanuts to an elephant in a zoo is the best way to increase your chances of having a nice time while you are away from home. People, you are on the beach for a fee that is not prohibitively expensive. Do you want higher expectations? Proceed to pay three times the amount of money.
The staff is really pleasant and goes above and beyond to assist guests. Be wary of folks who spend their very last dollar on their trip, then write reviews as though they deserve the best possible experience and expect it. Now that I’ve discovered it, I plan to come back to this hotel time and time again.
If you stay at this location, you won’t need a car at all. You have access to the beach right outside your front door, shopping for beer and beach essentials at Walgreens and CVS (which carry lots of other things you might require) within the same block, dozens of restaurants and bars within three blocks, and a fantastic casino within three blocks of your location.
The management and employees were really helpful and went above and beyond. I did what you should do and purchased an inexpensive cooler from Walgreens because they have an ice machine, and I know you won’t have any problems. Watch out for people who complain about rooms on the internet.
