Chef Patrick Van Der Donk

The top Dutch chefs, including Jacob-Jan Boerma of “De Leest” and Jannis Brevet of “Interscaldes,” worked with Chef Patrick while he was attending culinary school in Holland.

He spent some time working and traveling before arriving in Aruba, where he spent 8 years working as the senior chef at “Flying Fishbone.” Following this time, he opened his own French-style eatery, “Amuse,” in 2010. Sadly, at the beginning of 2019, this lovely wooden restaurant on a pier over the water caught fire.

However, by the end of the year, he had managed to construct two new restaurants, both of which were American-style BBQ smoke houses where he served homemade pastrami, smoked Brisket, and other dishes. He also makes fresh sausages from scratch. Invite chef Patrick over to cook you a delectable dinner.

Some of his reviews are listed below which guarantee an immaculate dinner for you:

“If you don’t plan on spending the extra money or looking elsewhere. Don’t! The most professional couple we have ever encountered, Chef Patrick & Yvette, served the most delectable food to ever bless our palates. Every lunch came with a comprehensive discussion of what we were having and was BEAUTIFULLY presented.

The menu was wonderful. They went above and above to make my partner feel special on her birthday. even more so with that cheesecake! I wouldn’t think twice about hiring Chef Patrick & Yvette again the next time we visit Aruba because they were such a treat!”
