According to the schedule, the first airshow will be presented on Friday, 3rd June, when expert pilots will be performing aerobatics above Grand Cayman’s Public Beach.
The performance will be held in the afternoon, letting the general public have an opportunity to watch it. The Director of Tourism, Mr. Rosa Harris, expresses his thoughts by stating “The Air Show is another family-friendly event that will set the destination apart.”
The Cayman Air Show is considered a local celebration as Samuel Rose, Chair of the Steering Committee and Cabinet Secretary. He added that stakeholders were brought in to bring this show which is near and dear to the hearts of UK citizens, especially on Cayman island.

The show will then continue on the second day on Saturday, June 4th. The first day includes merely the aircraft aerobatics.
However, the second day will lead to a parachute display and the exhibition of aircraft. Further, the students and public would be allowed to meet the pilots and watch the aircrafts exhibition for free and openly. According to Director General of Civil Aviation Richard Smith, it is a unique and worth remembering moment for the kids and students to get to know aviation, especially those interested in joining this field.
Security Concerns
The show is being presented with no ticket or expense, a more significant number of audience is being expected to watch the show.
This is quite a threat to security in order to manage that. The government has decided to restrict parking, so it will be accessible at Public Beach and Owen Roberts International Airport. The authorities ask the public to avail the free shuttle service from the parking area after parking their transport out there.

The two-day event will also include food and beverages for the general public. The Department of Tourism has reached out to food businesses to provide their services during the Platinum Jubilee to add more fun and colors to the show.
